Alejandra Huete is a teacher and researcher for the section of Food Microbiology of the Faculty of Microbiology, and Center for Research on Tropical Diseases of the University of Costa Rica. She collaborates on research projects related to food pathogens.
She completed a degree on Microbiology and Clinical Chemistry (2017) and is currently a Microbiology Masters student at the University of Costa Rica. As a part of her master’s studies, she is working with Listeria monocytogenes on fresh cheese.
